Jawbone Jambox Bluetooth speaker review
The Jawbone Jambox is a portable bluetooth speaker that provides superior sound in a portable package that can connect to any device that uses bluetooth. Apple, PC, Iphone, Android, Blackberry, you name it. Most common would be your cell phone, tablet or computer.
Jambox comes with a 36 inch stereo cable, a 60 inch micro USB cable, a wall charger, carrying case and a quick start guide. Therefore, you can charge it from the wall or your laptop which is a nice feature.
It provides up to 10 hours of battery life
weighs only 12 ounces
is 6 inches long by 1.5 inches wide and 2.25 inches tall
has a 30-60 foot blue tooth range.
On the top of the Jambox are volume up (+) and volume down (-) buttons along with a circle button which you hit to see how much battery is left on your Jambox. You can also control the volume of your music etc from your phone or mobile device.
On the side of the Jambox is the power button, which you hold in the up position to pair the Jambox to your device. Beneath that is the 3.5mhead phone jack. This is useful to use because it allows you to connect the Jambox to any older mp3 player or device that doesn’t have bluetooth connectivity . Below that is the micro usb port which is used to charge the device.
To pair your Jambox, hold the power button in the up position until the Jambox says it is in pairing mode. Then go into your devices bluetooth settings, scan for devices, wait for Jambox to appear and then pair. It is that easy.
You can also use the Jambox as a external speaker for phone calls or conference calls which is a nice feature.
I use mine all the time. I have found with my use that I get at least 8 hours of battery life. I can’t say enough good things about the Jambox by Jawbone. The sound that comes out of this little box is quite amazing. It is perfect for use in the golf cart, playing cards etc. It will easily provide enough quality sound for a room in your house. The sound quality between the Jambox and your phone is night and day. You need to hear it to believe it. I highly recommend it. It now comes in different colors as well.
